Reiki Classes  

The Usui System of Reiki is taught by Reiki Masters who are trained in the tradition of Reiki as passed through the spiritual lineage, and whose personal and professional lives are committed to this healing art and the lifestyle it implies.

A Reiki I class is usually taught in four, three-hour sessions. Each student is attuned to the energy while also learning the history of Reiki, the basic hand positions for self-treatment and the treatment of others, and ways to use Reiki in their own lives (to animals, plants, food, eliminating the side effects of medication). The First Degree class reflects the simplicity of the practice. It is about 18 hours of theory and practise.

Reiki II is offered to students who have taken Reiki I, have had from several months to one or more years of committed practice, and feel drawn to taking this next step with Reiki. A series of tools are taught (three sacred symbols and sounds) with which the treatments can be enhanced. There is much spiritual growth, too. You can heal the past, send light to the future (so everything goes well in an operation, exam, trial, etc). You may change mental patterns, heal people through the distance, and many more uses. It is also about 18 theorical-practical hours long.

Doing Reiki I does not mean you have to learn Reiki II: there are students who have enough with First Degree for their daily life and yet others need to widen and deepen more their experience with Reiki.

Finding a teacher or a treatment  

‘A master will appear if a pupil is ready to learn’.

A Reiki Master is a person who feels called to continue the study of Reiki through teaching and who has received the training and initiation to teach First and Second Degree classes in Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Reiki Healing. The training, preparation, and initiation for mastery come from a Reiki Master who has extensive living and teaching experience as a master in the Usui System of Reiki Healing.

A Reiki Master who practices the Usui System of Reiki Healing has completed the steps of commitment outlined in the form. These include being initiated by a master in the direct spiritual lineage, using the daily-living principles as a moral and spiritual guide, recognizing the life-long relationship with Reiki and with the initiating master, and payment of USD 10,000 as a token of commitment and energy exchange.

The masters of Usui Shiki Rioho try to live the spiritual precepts of Reiki in our daily lives, practicing Reiki by giving and receiving treatments, continuing our professional training, and pursuing our ongoing personal and spiritual growth. As a master of The Reiki Alliance community we share professional standards and a code of ethics.

Courses can be done in a weekend or adapted to four mornings or evenings.

Places :  My place is located in Guadalajara (next to Julian Besteiro St.) and Madrid (Spain), 50 m off the subway station of Pueblo Nuevo (lines 5 and 7) and 250 m off the subway station of Barrio de la Concepción, this area is connected  by several buses lines as 146, 21, 38, 70.  The Reiki courses are usually taught in Madrid and Guadalajara (Castilla-La Mancha) both in Spain. The place in Guadalajara is in Juan Ramón Jiménez St. next to Julian Besteiro St. and near to Avenida del Ejercito. Also I taught Reiki in Pelayos de la Presa (a little town next to San Martín de Valdeiglesias).   

It is posible to do them in other times and places. In order to request a different place, it is necessary that at least six people are going to do the course.
